Please Help Us To Get these Babies Well Again

Meet Casey and Plantation Coco. These two dogs may be the sweetest dogs we have in foster, but they share something else -- they have suffered back problems that have left them totally or partially incontinent. Casey has calcified discs near her neck that leave her with no control over her bladder or bowels. As such, she may need to wear a diaper inside. Plantation Coco is not totally without feeling in his bladder and bowels. He knows when he needs to go, so he has feeling but can't seem to get things working. He will go outside, but sometimes he can't hold it inside. His
situation is more controllable than Casey's, but both have major medical needs. Surgery is not an option for either right now, so FLDR is seeking help from a certified acupuncturist to treat both. Treatment consists of acupuncture, electro stimulus and chiropractic adjustments. This is not inexpensive. Each visit is more than $200 a dog and may last for months. But we are committed to giving every option we can to improving the quality of life for both dogs. Adoption fees alone to not begin to cover the medical expenses rescue groups incur. We need help from concerned individuals through donations. And special cases like these are particularly important. Please consider helping sponsor the treatment for Casey or Plantation Coco.
